The three variations of relationships..Crush, infatuation n love!! In my life i was attracted to three girls[to be honest n still counting]...First one was barely a crush as I forgot her the week after I saw her. Crush happens a lot to people as we all are actively attracting others. But why I'm writing this blog is to discuss about infatuation!!
I've heard many people using this term as an excuse not to fell in love. Is'nt that a bit too lame to project a word like this to break another's heart!
The dictionary says infatuation is - [n] foolish and usually extravagant passion or love or admiration
Is'nt that love at first sight?? Or else is'nt it infatuation that grows into love? Love can't start without infatuation yet people degrade someone feelings by calling it a mere infatuation and the poor heartbroken kid is treated as a cartoon, whose heart is aching for apparently no reason!! Is'nt that the most cruelest thing one can do to an emotionally down person? As much as i hate the word 'hate' , I hate infatuation too. To those who all rejects others feeling by calling it infatuation, Get a solid reason or try to be true about what you think about others feeling than just berating one's emotions!
True LOVE occurs rarely, so once you get in one, dont try to be too judgmental and portray it to be an infatuation. Instead live in the moment and try to make things happen . Take care
