A I had this thing in my mind for some time about how athletes from different sports have collective character between them yet differ with the sport, its actually funny...
Like volleyball players. They are the tallest and the fun people in my sports complex. They are fun loving, trying to make jokes from every incident and every person. They are fun people to hang out with.

Then comes the basket ball people. They are the snobs who thinks they are the best athletes there. They dont mingle with the 'commoners' and stays in their world and are the worst outside their sport maybe only better than footballers in that aspect. All they could do is play basket ball alone and you could beat them easily in any other given sport! and are the ones who spend the most in sports gears :P

Now comes footballers, the arrogant SOBs ever. They are the noisiest people in the ground, always graze as a pack. And i believe their mentality stems from the fact that they belong to a team sport, they win as a team, they lose as a team, so they are programmed not to take the blame or responsibility as a person!! And to add, they are the worst athletes outside their sport.

Then there are track and field athletes. They are the most focused athletes in the stadium. They dont get distracted at all, they dont kid around, all they do is practice n practice harder. And they are one of the best mannered people, maybe due to the fact that their events, are individual, they know they cant rely on anyone other than themselves. They are without doubts the hard workers and usually they have a coach who always keeps them busy with work outs!

And cricketers. They always appear low in confidence and are silent people mainly due to the fact that they are the least fit people in the ground. Most of the cricketers are out of shape and dont even train at all other than some net practice. Endurance training is still a myth for them :P
Finally my sport. Boxers, maybe me being one among them, makes me negligent about our stereotype, still to me, boxers are the ones who stands firmly on the ground. They are overall in better shape than most of the athletes, only second to sprinters. No one messes with the boxers, for obvious reasons :p, and being from an individual sport, boxers normally dont gang up on some one, nor goes searching for trouble. And normally their coaches are the roughest in the entire stadium [which is a necessity for the sport]. They are good in every sport from hand ball to basketball because instead of playing a practice match of their own sport on the rest days [like footballers n basketballers do] they play different games making them good in almost every game played in the stadium.
Well, thats all for now :)
P.S- these are just some things the author have noticed and is'nt a reflection of matters everywhere !!
