10. MUNICH



Munich is a movie which deals with the black september tragedy tht happened in 1986 munich olympics and Israeli govt's secret retaliation.It stars ERIC BANA in lead role with CRAIG DANIEL..It really shows the character evolution of ERIC BANA from a normal happy person to a person with insecurity n fear!!

9. PULP FICTION


With all the stars present in the movie it is destined to be a mega hit as well as a gud movie..Well pulp fiction is it!!It has got the usual TARENTINO movie violences n got great dialogues all over the film.This film is noted for its non linear story line and the mix of humour and violence.JOHN TRAVOLTA,SAUMEL L JACKSON,UMA THURMAN,VING RHAMES,BRUCE WILLIS,CHRISTOPHER WALKEN stars in this film..Thats like half the hollywood :P..Anyways the sound track also is very good and who can forget the dance scene between UMA THURMAN and JOHN TRAVOLTA

8 BOURNE IDENTITY/SUPREMACY/ULTIMATUM



One of the best triology I've ever seen.It shows the character build up of a man who has no name to a fugitive who is dangerous to deal with.MAT DAMON steals the show with his unforgetable role and escapes in this movie.

7.PIRATES OF THE CARRIBEAN



How many have pictured JOHNNY DEPP in a comic role before these movies.I instantly became a fan of CAPT. JACK SPARROW.The movie is a excellent mix of humour,good dialogues and exotic place,and not to forget, a one of a kind potrayal of a pirate by JOHNNY DEPP

6.RANG DE BASANTI



When i first heard the movie name,my expectations where very low.But what a movie it turned out to be.Truely patriotic theme.Great performance by AAMIR KHAN and co. Even better music by A R Rehman and a great theme to pass to youngters!! A true enlightner!!

5. SCARFACE



The AL PACINO effect.With a good blend of gangster life and all the colours of the 70's!! The character evolution of Al pacino is gr8 from a slum person to a billionare having paranoia!! Its actually the performance of actors that stands out!

4.FORREST GUMP



TOM HANKS at his best.This movie shows a guy who wins in his life without even the knowledge of it.It shows about a person who has below average IQ,with intelligence juz above of being retarded !!A person who invests in apple comp. thinking he is investing in fruit bussiness!! The plot is kind of funny still it makes your eyes wet !!!

3.The DEPARTED



MARTIN SCORSESE effect. Completed by hard working actors.This is a complete movie..A drama which is really a remake of south asian movie but who cares!!The movie is so excellent that it makes you sit in front of the screen from the start to the end!! DI CAPRIO,MATT DAMON,JACK NICHOLSON put a mesmerizing show in this film.

2. FIGHT CLUB



"We're consumers. We are by-products of a lifestyle obsession. Murder, crime, poverty, these things don't concern me. What concerns me are celebrity magazines, television with 500 channels, some guy's name on my underwear. Rogaine, Viagra, Olestra"

this dialogue made me a fan of this movie.One of the best movies ever according to me,which many will disagree.EDWARD NORTON and BRAD PITT put an excellent effort in this movie.The dialogues alone makes an impact on the viewer. A radical movie mixed with the brad pitt shown as perfect alpha male !! I fell in love with all the dialogues in this movie!! From start to end!!

1. THE GODFATHER



The best movie I've ever seen without any slightest doubts.It actually is a drama which shows the life being among the stongest families!! With great portrayal of characters the movie really induces a great mood to the veiwer!! No wonder why its regarded as a CLASSIC!! The character evolution of AL PACINO is somewhat a CULT in movies.Especially the new year scene in God Father 2!! really leaves a lot of memories to the audience!!

Many movies did really made a gud impact in me like SHAW SHANK REDEMPTION,USUAL SUSPECTS,V FOR VENDETTA,SAVING PRIVATE RYAN,SEVEN,DIL CHAHTA HAI,THOOVANATHUMPIKAL,KIREEDOM etc!!!

The toughest question

One modest looking lady,whom i saw for the first time in life, came infront of me and asked.."How is HE"...I looked at the sky with a blank mind and heavy heart..I was'nt even able to speak out or look at her face... I stood as if i was asked the most toughest question ever...All I did was walk away from her!!

Nishanth was one of the first guy whom i acquainted with , at the start of my college life. I was always with my friend Kiron on the first 2 or 3 days of the college... Since i opted for electronics n he opted for IT, he desperately needed some guy from IT class so that he wont feel lonely when actual class starts..And Nishanth came into my life. We all were in one common college bus and we started bonding together as he is one down to earth guy with a "DUDE!! CHILL!!" attitude..He soon won the hearts of many by his lovely character and with his peculiar low tone voice..Anyways he merged into the group eventhough he was from alappuzha..Days past and we got seperated and blended into our own classes..He was never a great friend of mine..But he was always a bit more than a mere friend..We met every now and then..We both shared some interests like speeding our bike and maintaining a goatee beard ...we met usually on the bike stand....We used to meet each other whenever we bunk an exam or get out of the exam hall within 30 mins or so...although our rendezvous were short it was fun!!

One fine night when i was at SRK's home, phone rang and our friend suraj said nishanth met with a horrific accident and is at medical college...We went there only to find out that he was gone!! We all waited for his parents to arrive from his hometown,and me Kiran[gandhi] and Anand was waiting in front of the casualty ward..At about 3 30 am a scorpio came n stopped in front of us and 2 people jumped out of the car..We all knew it was his dad and his uncle...everyone went after them and we three stood there itself on the side of the car.Then one modest looking lady came out of the car and asked us with a calm face .."HOW IS HE??"...We all knew that she did'nt knew the situation and she was said that her son just met with an accident and is admitted in the hospital..She looked into my face searching for an answer and all i can do was not to look at her face..Anand seemed trying to talk something but words weren't coming out of his head..Gandhi somehow said 'he is fine' ... by then she understood the seriousness of the situation and went to her relatives searching for more answers!!

And we three stood there in trauma thinking of what we could have told or did..which wont make any change!! but.............

that question........... HOW IS HE???

OK...Don't be so modest when you read this...I swear u have used this word atleast once in our life...some of us degrade this word as bad...I feel sad when you use this as a bad word...It is one of the most beautiful word, language should be proud of it. It is so versatile that, beside the sexual meaning ,it falls to many grammatic categories

it can be used as a verb both transitive : Sam f***ed mary.
and intransitive : Mary was f***ed by Sam.


and as a noun : Mary is a fine f***.

it can be used as an adjective : Mary is f***ing beautiful.

This word is much versatile that it can be used in various situations n goes with any tone...It can express the mood of the user much...

VENUSTRAPHOBIA

Imagine a beautiful gal..someone like a KATRINA KAIF look alike...You see her..You wanna talk to her badly....OK this situation is exclusively for boys...So u desperately want to make a good impression on her...But when she comes to you...you can't talk to her...even u can't look at her...Inside you , you r cursing yourself for your misery but still u can't even make a move...this situation sucks right??? well almost 98% of boys suffer from this... 90% cope with it and comes up with a way to get over it by experience [past which may not be that bright, but hey its the present and future that matters..right]...But rest 8%??? Well this topic is dedicated for them...Girls call them ugly attitude guys...but the medical term coined for them...."VENUSTRAPHOBIC"

VENUSTRAPHOBIA is the fear of beautiful girls [Usually occurs in guys but in this moving world!! may be women also suffer from that...no scientific conformation yet!! atleast of my knowledge] . Anyways the point is guys suffering from this phobia cant have a normal conversation with girls usually beautiful girls which may even ruin his social life...WEIRD right??? I knw...

Lately I've been asked by many of my friends about what this number 23 means to me..There has been a lot of speculations about it.So to end it all I'm speaking about the number 23.

First of all ,everyone likes a numeral right.Some think 7 is lucky for them,some thinks its 11 [i've got one strong believer in the umber 11. It's my friend SRK] .Likewise my favourite number is 23.I wont say it as my lucky number but I like this number.And there is one strong reason for that.As I've mentioned before in my previous posting I'm a catholic and I'm brought up as a practicing Christian. And from my childhood I'm always exposed to bible verses and if my memory is right,my grandfather [mom's father] always loved to read psalms 23 of bible and being his youngest grandchild , he always had a soft corner for me.So somehow i also liked that chapter of psalms in the old testament of bible. Anyways those who don't know the 23rd psalms, here it is....

Besides this reason I've got another reason too.Being a strong fan of REAL MADRID C.F , the players like beckham n sneijder wore/wear the no 23 jersey which made my fondness to this no even more!!

Euro has hit the town...yeh guys...after first round the big guns played upto the expectation of fans except for les blues n azurri's.Netherlands played quite a thriller against azurri."Sniejderman" was quite impressive.If u look into the matches you will see that all REAL MADRID players played fantastically n scored goals.Pepe sneijder n VAN GOAL scored.Also the future targets of MADRID played good for eg Ronaldo,van der vart,villa

Anyways looking forward for more action in euro's. I really want espana or dutch to win this time
