I was waken by an unusual message frm my frnd mahadevan, and the content of the messsage was
" MJ THE KING OF POP passed away"...and i was like what the F***!!!
Yah I knw.The first of the few things you will remember about MJ is his badly augmented nose or the molestation controversies,yet he was one of the artists that laid stepping stones to my passion for songs.Its true I have moved on to other genres of music and artists like MetallicA, porcupine tree, Guns N Roses etc, still MJ songs are always a bit too nostalgic to me. I fondly remember the very first ones of my english song, beat it, still gives me a blood rush. The man was amazing, undoubtedly he ruled the music world ,not even equalled by the legendary beatles or doors. The man was of sheer class and he redefined the music world, the live stage performances and of course break dance, the man started from the very basics and climbed up the ladder till moon only because of his hard work and dedication!! Although he was very popular for beat songs like Thriller or BAD or Scream etc no one can deny the variety of music he offered. From songs like earth song,heal the world, you are not alone to black n white,stranger in moscow , no other musician has ever ruled the business as he did in his prime. Everyone will remember him and slash sharing the stage, making the fans go through one of the best feelings they can enjoy through music. I mean how many musicians had their music video directed by the legendary director Martin Scorcese or how may had 'the biggest star' Elvis Presley as your father in law or how many had a song with legendary Paul McCartney or how many had a music video with the supermodel naomi campbell. Yah MJ had that all!!
Its true that towards the end of his life, he got into many troubles n sexual abuse cases but his troubled childhood was the prime suspect for his behaviour. He was always the man of eccentricity ,from his songs to his stage performances to his dance steps to his famous NEVERLAND mansion, he had seen all in his life, to misery to the height of success that any man can ever imagine, the man himself was larger than life. Although MJ will be remembered as the notoriously dumb celebrity who had it all and blewed it all ,its a certainity that he will always be the one and only KING OF POP for all the fans.
